From Russia With Love


The following is a little bit of Russian opinion (Pravda) of the U.S. foreign policy. It is very interesting to read news from other countries, and interesting how the U.S. media counter it.

"These days the ideas of human rights protection are coming back to the West. But the attempts of human rights activists to spread the norms of behavior adopted in the civilized world onto the ‘barbarian world’ will be no success until the western culture gives up the illusions about its absolute domination and exclusiveness..."

This post links to an article in Pravda on the U.S. position on Ossetia and how it relates to Kosovo. Perhaps we should include news from the actual regions we are judging in the debates on how we are to react. They may actually have some real insight on what is happening.
